Child Safety Warning

A Canadian "Consumer Information Notice" was issued last month regarding Child Safety Seat products which could pose a danger.

The products in question are Third-Pary Aftermarket Products for Children's Restraint Systems. This includes infant and toddler seats as well as boosters. The problem with many of these products have to do with how they may introduce slack in the restraining devices. This allows the child to be partially or fully ejected out of their seat during a crash. Others introduce hard surfaces which can cause injury to the child during a crash.
